In my last writing, I shared about True Beauty. How it lives inside of us, & includes but is beyond the body. While loving our precious beings is the most important, healing, & powerful tool we’ll *ever* have in any circumstance {more on this is in my next writing}, doing what we can to help ourselves feel as good as we can is important too. This means we hold our bodies with reverence, just as they are, but also strive to bring them comfort & well-being by taking care of them. This will look very different for different people.

I spoke specifically about my journey with cystic acne & how my heart has grown to love that much more by having to navigate my skin’s painful, long-term, severe experience. Cystic acne has truly been my teacher, in a beautiful way. And while it is my deepest wish that you will love & hold compassion for yourself & your body & {{feel}} your worthiness as God’s child, I also want to uplift you in helping your skin feel as healthy as it can. So here are the things that have helped my skin to heal, after having experienced cystic acne for over 15 years. I am so grateful to say that I am now almost completely clear-skinned.

~ Celery juice on an empty belly every morning

~ Sleep

~ Allowing myself to pause, ask for help, & take pressure off myself

~ Making myself my own safe place, especially in times of fear, deep fatigue, & depression

~ Vitamins & minerals

~ Essential oils

~ Dry skin brushing

~ Facial massage using a roller

~ Making joy & freedom my first priorities in my food choices

~ Cold water therapy every morning

These are the *only* things I’ve ever seen make a change in my skin in all these years, aside from a period of time where I was on birth control as a teen {I would not recommend this route to heal skin} & when I was a fruitarian in my twenties, but that wasn’t sustainable or truly healthy for me with where I was at in my body & mind {more about this soon}.

Why is celery juice so miraculous for the body? Because it brings alkalinity to our over-acidic inner landscapes, is full of nourishing minerals, is astringent & cleansing by nature, & it binds to toxic build-up, helping it to break free & leave the body.

Here is more about the wonders of celery juice from Medical Medium ~

Sleep is healing because it’s a time when our physical energy is most alive & available for our body’s needs. Sleep is an experience made specifically for our body’s cellular repair, among other things that our energetic bodies need {more on that in another post}.

Being gentle with our energy & aware that we can only do our best in each moment {& that “best” will constantly change} helps bring peace & surrender, which creates a healing state for our skin. This means being generously compassionate with ourselves always, but especially when deep, painful feelings move through.

Because of how depleted much of our soil is at this time on earth, our foods are no longer full of the vitamins & minerals we need to be healthy. Therefore, it’s easy to become deficient, even if we're eating the best foods for our well-being. This means high-quality supplementation is necessary in my view, and even more so if we're vegetarian & vegan {lifestyles that can be amazing for health when done properly but damaging otherwise}. Sometimes skin conditions can be so severe because of a deficiency our body is struggling with, so this is an important piece. Our bodies need ways to cleanse & surrender toxic material but they also need ways to build & strengthen their integrity. It’s a balance.

The essential oil that has been most helpful for my skin is Frankincense, used both internally in tiny amounts & externally diluted. I’ve also found relief using Tea Tree as a spot treatment.

Here is what DoTerra, the company that makes my favorite essential oils, has to say about their capacities ~

Dry skin brushing is healing because it stimulates new cell growth & the shedding of dead skin cells while also supporting the lymph in moving so it can properly do its job as an elimination channel.

Facial massage using a roller brings circulation & lymph stimulation to the face, so it has a deeper ability to heal & stay healthy.

For me, making joy & freedom my first priorities with my food choices has helped lighten my heart & body tremendously. Connecting with food in this heartfelt way has allowed me to relax & surrender my stress around what foods to eat/not to eat for healing my skin. This has helped me to truly be present with food & guide myself more consciously. Now, my healthy food choices come out of genuine desire & joy, not out of fear & stress. I do not live by any rigid food rules that are not life-giving anymore & I feel that has helped me to be in right relationship with food, & myself.

Lastly, using cold water at the end of a shower each morning can be healing because the temperature of the water stimulates the immune system & brings extra circulation to the body. I also find that I feel more alive, energetic, & present after immersing myself in cold water because it’s so refreshing. It has a strong way of bringing me right into my body for the day.

These habits have been blessings to me & I hope they can be to you too. But please keep in mind that every person {even if they have the “same” health condition as another} is unique with different needs, so these may work beautifully for you or you may need something else.

And that’s what I’m here for & love to do ~ to help you in hearing your body & the specific things it needs to be well.

May we all be happy, healthy, & free.

I have scars all over my face. And many on my body. From years of cystic acne.

This has shaped my heart in a beautiful & strong way. I’ve had to navigate all kinds of judgment because of my skin ~ from Carolina is ugly to not taking good care of herself to she's on drugs. This has broken my heart open into being much deeper, clearer & compassionate because of all the hurtful words I’ve received. It has set me on a journey of finding worth, beauty, & goodness beyond & in my body, just as it is. In a culture that places so much value on the body’s appearance being a certain way, this has been meaningful, healing work for me. And it is my deepest hope to pass on this unconditional love I’ve found for myself to you, for yourself.

Over the years of navigating & processing different & untrue judgements due to my skin, I have found the :: trueness :: of real beauty. I know now, in a deep {{feeling}} way that true beauty is in the heart. It's how you are as a human being, and nothing outwardly can change this beauty. It is one of steel. It's infinite. A beauty everlasting that changes the hearts of others & brings more light to our shared humanity. It is a beauty all-powerful. It is a beauty that reaches into God.

But scars & cystic acne are not un-beautiful by any means. Cystic acne only means your body is struggling in some way & not getting what it needs, which can often feel like a mysterious puzzle to understand & begin to shift, but your worth & beauty have nothing at all to do with your health. Cystic acne also does not mean you are not taking care of yourself. It’s a condition that can take time to heal & can be a very gradual process, even when you are giving your body everything it needs to get better. On the flip side, sometimes cystic acne gets better very quickly when your body has what it needs. Every person & their healing journey is entirely unique. We cannot compare one to the next. We can learn from & be inspired by one another, but we must not use comparison to diminish & demean ourselves. This will never help us rise.

You are not wrong, bad, or ugly if you have acne or scars, or any kind of skin condition. Or any health condition that effects your body for that matter. You are God’s child, with a divine blueprint, created {{on purpose}}, just as you are. If you’re paralyzed, if you’re scarred, if you’re missing a leg, if you have a syndrome you came into this world with, if you’re missing teeth, you are beautiful & deserve to be loved, by yourself & others. And God & your invisible loved ones see you as the most beautiful & perfect creation, no matter what you or others see. They cry at your beauty, & all that your unique presence means to this journey of humanity.

But ~ if you struggle to love yourself as you are, please know you are loved in those feelings too. We are tightly woven into a wounded human world that largely pressures us into limiting standards that are devoid of true, diverse life. They are dead ideals. And the work of unbinding ourselves from that has just begun. So we must be ever so gentle with ourselves & others as we slowly expand & wake up from these wounded dreams.

{Side note ~ Accepting your holy beauty does not mean inner & outer movement toward greater health translates to not fully accepting & loving yourself as you are. You can love your skin in any state & also strive to help it feel as best as it can be.

And ~ those who choose (or have a true need) to change their body through artificial means (like surgery for example) are no less beautiful, worthy, or wrong for choosing that.}

Both within Innate Miracle & my own life, I work with Creator & what I call :: Divine Family.

Who are they to me? And what does {{work}} mean?

To me, Creator is God. The One Song Of All • Our Home & who we truly are in & out of these bodies • The unconditional love that is attracting ::everything:: together at the quantum level & evolving itself as we inform it through our personal evolvement.

To me, this is Creator. And we are all extensions/embodiments/children of Creator, every stone, every human, every drop of dew, every creature great & small, every star.

The Divine Family is another facet of Creator.

Who is in this family, which each & every one of us has? Our higher self {{our God~nature that is not “fully in” the human experience, but has one “foot” in our physical experience & another in our pure spiritual existence}}, our guardian angel {{our “main” angel that has been with us in every lifetime we’ve been here on earth}}, the accumulation of the highest learnings from our ancestors {{what I call Ancestral Wisdom}}, star family {{our loved ones from other planets who love & support us in our earthly experience}}, & Loving Guides {{which are our other etheric loved ones who have been assigned to support our evolvement in this life}}.

When we work with Creator & Divine Family, we communicate with them by opening to their loving presence & welcoming in their support toward complete well-being & the most benevolent outcomes for whatever we’re facing in life. This adds a powerful force of love to all that we do. Our loving entourage is always present, but it is our awareness of them, our willingness, & our trust in their support that makes all the difference in how we move in the world. This relationship with Creator & Divine Family amplifies our co-creative abilities in receiving what we truly need in our soul.

It is also a very healing experience to have a place with God & loved ones where we can set all our pain. This moves it out of our bodies & into a container of unconditional love, where it is held in the purest light.

When we are aware of Creator & all the loved ones around us & we open to the divine current that is our truest nature, miracles can happen.

This adds a precious beauty to life, as well as to our physical healing, that nothing else can.
